Why Grading Matters

Buying used technology without a grading system is a gamble.

ATR grades every device that comes through our facility so buyers know exactly what condition to expect before they bid. A grade is not a promise that a device is perfect. It is an honest description of what we found when we evaluated it.

Why Grading Matters

Buying used technology without a grading system is a gamble.

GRADE A

Grade A devices show minimal signs of use. Cosmetically they are in excellent shape, with no cracks, no significant scratches, and no damage that affects appearance in normal use. Functionally they have passed our testing process and all primary features are working as expected.

GRADE B

Grade B devices work and all primary functions have been tested and operate correctly. What distinguishes a B grade from an A grade is cosmetic condition. These devices have visible signs of use that do not affect performance but are noticeable when you look at the device up close.

GRADE C

Grade C devices have passed functional testing and operate as intended, but they come with cosmetic condition that is noticeable and significant. These are devices that have been through heavy use. The wear is not subtle, and the price reflects it.
